Teen found shot to death in parking lot of Brookshire apartment complex

BROOKSHIRE, Texas – An 18-year-old is dead after being shot and left in the parking lot of an apartment complex in Brookshire.

The Brookshire Police Department said Juan Carlos Rodriguez Jr. was found lying in the parking lot of the Willow Springs Apartments.

Officers received the call around 7:03 p.m. on Friday, August 30th, and found Rodriguez dead.

A suspect has yet to be identified in this case. Police did say it appears to be an isolated event.

A GoFundMe page to help the family describes Juan as a cheerful young man who loved riding horses and spending time with his family and friends.
